MCO@1-Apr-2020, it was painful night in warming Paka town, for 10 consecutive days as I remember.
On the 4th April, run straight home to my wife in N9 after setting up specialist appointment on the 5th asking to be boarded for further management.
Due to covid19 mitigation, the boarding took 3 days and upon boarded, the doctor had set for MRI on the same night.
After looking at the MRI result the next day, it was make known of new finding. C6/C7 had bulged. Previosly, I was suffering from C4/C5/C6, L4/L5/S1.
Looking at the films, there is a bit improvement on the other bulged disc in term of liquid content, but it still not doing any good that day.
Seems that I have been complacent by reducing efforts in maintaining good diet and daily stretch as I was pain free for 8 months.
After few weeks of painkiller consumptions, it was all better but not fully OK.
Fast forward...
Enjoyed fasting Ramadhan at home, came the Eidulfitri.
Negeri Sembilan, touted as heaven of Gulai Lemak Cili Api Lemang, Rendang, Itik Salai or the smoked duck, Penganan aka Dodol, adding on with normal Malaysian household biscuits, aneka kuih muih, cakes plus Durian Season... Wow...
In complacent again, even weight gained expected, but continuing maintain the gained weight for few months was unexpected. I was weight 4kg more than my MCO weight.
Tried previously used methods to reduce weight but no avail, the numbers still sticked, the pain still excruciating as it was impossible to frequently travel for nearest 45km away physio centre, and best ever treatment was 110km away in the neighbouring state.
Prolonged pain causing increasing in anxiety. Hardly sleep, always daydreaming, keep thinking but no result, unable to focus, etc, causing the life becaming harder in any way, easily ticked off.
One nice sunny day, I was very angry with my first born, I screamed until I felt the shooting pain at my ACM region. Oh time to reflect, to take action.
Fortunately the event took place a few days before planned back to my birthplace hometown. Unlocked the phone, contact the specialist doctor for 2nd oppinion and also the traditional CLM.
The second Doctor said same thing, only prescribed anxiety and nerve medication.
Feeling doubtful, run to my used to go chiropractor, done the theraphy and feel relieved for a moment.
After thinking and searching on the next move, wrote the future plan for execution..
The plan:
1. Weight Loss through Diet.
2. Strenghtning through Exercise.
3. Relieving through Manual Therapy.
4. Relaxing through Aroma Theraphy.
Paving the Way!!!
Oh, the kids are calling me. Need to go!
